"Walking through the halls of Saint Henry School, you can tell it’s special. There are happy children and a staff that looks out for each and every child’s well-being. It is a place of active learning... but it is also a place of love and great faith."

"Our family has been “on the move” around the country for the past several years before landing here in Nashville. In our past communities, our three children have attended public school, charter school and Catholic school. Living in Williamson County, we could have easily sent our children to a top-rated public school, but our children have thrived in the Catholic environment and the choice to continue the children’s education has enhanced our family’s commitment to our Catholic faith. After several visits to Catholic, private and public schools throughout the city our search ended as soon as we walked through the doors of Saint Henry School. We had done our homework, and we were looking for a Catholic School and friendly community that shared our beliefs and values. It was also important that we could transition and feel welcomed into the school and parish with little disruption to our three children…and Saint Henry fit our family perfectly!

Walking through the halls of Saint Henry School, you can tell it’s special. There are happy children and a staff that looks out for each and every child’s well-being. It is a place of active learning and critical thinking, but it is also a place of love and great faith. The Dominican Sisters and their teaching bring a unique element to Saint Henry – they help the children create a strong Catholic and academic identity. It is a place where your child will not fall behind; they are lifted up and taught study skills and ways to succeed and overcome their struggles. It is a school filled with opportunities in sports, the arts and academic achievements. Our family has been so grateful for the dedication, opportunities and genuine care they have given to each of our children. It is a true testament to the loving community guided by the Dominican Sisters and the amazing teachers at Saint Henry School.

Each week when we attend the Saint Henry Children’s mass, it reaffirms our decision and our commitment to this amazing school community. The music, the voices and the beautiful faces of each of the Saint Henry students and teachers all brought together for a common goal. We are cherishing every moment we have at Saint Henry, and we know our children will hold on tight to the faith, values, knowledge and love that this very special school has provided our family."

"It is evident that the tradition of COMMUNITY remains strong at Saint Henry. The academics, athletics and extracurriculars have always been solid, but the focus of our school is FAITH. It is comforting to know that our children stop each morning after the occasional hectic 7 a.m. hustle and bustle to reflect on their day and receive a beautiful reminder that God is always close."

"As a former student and current parent, it is evident that the tradition of COMMUNITY remains strong at Saint Henry. The academics, athletics and extracurriculars have always been solid, but the focus of our school is FAITH. It is comforting to know that our children stop each morning after the occasional hectic 7 a.m. hustle and bustle to reflect on their day and receive a beautiful reminder that God is always close.

In my opinion, the consistency of daily prayer and devotion throughout their school day will follow them for years to come. The practice of witnessing and recognizing good in others is also another of life's necessities that is received as a Saint Henry student.

Alongside the hard work and dedication of my parents, vivid memories from Saint Henry – such as Stations of the cross, all school mass and the genuine love and care from faculty and staff –have certainly contributed to the foundation of who I am today as a Christian, a spouse and a parent.

Our family considers the Saint Henry School and Church community a special gift and I feel extremely blessed that our children get to be a part of it!"
