+ Middle School Science Teacher
Saint Henry School in Nashville, serving over 700 students in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade, seeks an experienced, innovative, and passionate 7th and 8th Grade Science teacher who is willing to work hard to bring learning to life and collaborate with a highly qualified professional learning community in a supportive school environment.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design a curriculum in line with the Diocese of Nashville Curriculum Guide and plan lessons that are engaging, deepen understanding and critical thinking, and are integrated with technology
- Work collaboratively with the team of teachers and partners with parents to communicate student successes and areas of growth

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor in Elementary Education with a focus on science, Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies, Bachelor of Science, or master's degree
- Prefer teaching experience in science at the middle or upper grade level
- Valid TN Teaching License with Science and/or Multiple Subject Credential
- Experience with differentiated instruction
- Strong Classroom Management Skills
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Technology skills and ability to integrate technology into instructional experiences

Saint Henry School is seeking experienced, innovative, and passionate staff for our Aftercare program. We are seeking applicants willing to work hard to ensure that students are provided supportive and nurturing care in an environment appropriate for after-school hours. Staff members are expected to be passionate about what they do, the students they provide care for and mentor, and the school community. Saint Henry School is an exciting, highly professional, and very engaging community.
- $18/Hour
- Weekdays 2:45-5:45PM
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Ability to follow the guidelines and policies provided
- Willing to incorporate the teachings of the Catholic faith
- Experience working with children in various developmental stages preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
