+ Elementary Grade Teacher

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design a curriculum in line with the Diocese of Nashville Curriculum Guide vertically aligned with elementary grades and plan lessons that are engaging, deepen understanding and critical thinking, and are integrated with technology.
  • Work collaboratively with the team of teachers and partner with parents to communicate student successes and areas of growth.

REQUIREMENTS

  1. Minimum of 3 years teaching in an elementary grade classroom.
  2. Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or Early Childhood Education.
  3. Valid TN Teaching License with Elementary Education endorsement.
  4. Experience with differentiated instruction.
  5. Strong Classroom Management Skills.
  6. Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  7. Technology skills and ability to integrate technology into the instructional experiences.

Saint Henry School in Nashville, serving over 700 students, pre-kindergarten through eighth grade, seeks an experienced School Counselor to join our supportive school environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Plan individual solution-focused counseling, small groups, and drop-in crisis counseling to help in the academic development and personal/social growth of students.
  • Organize classroom counseling lessons on topics such as bullying, conflict resolution, peer relations, and others to be discussed with administration.
  • Coordinate with outside agencies to enrich the counseling curriculum.
  • Manage teacher, parent, and outside agency (therapists, doctors, etc.) consultations to discuss student concerns and track progress.
  • Develop plans of action that will assist the student in reaching his/her fullest potential.
  • Provides administrative support.

+ Camp Tiger Town Summer 2025 Internship

Overall Job Summary
Saint Henry School is seeking a motivated Summer Camp Operations Intern to join our Camp Tiger Town director team for a 5-week internship in Nashville, Tennessee. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain insights into school operations and contribute to the success of our summer day camp program, known as Camp Tiger Town. The internship position will be unpaid and offered as class credit or as volunteer hours.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Summer Camp Support: Contribute to camp operations initiatives, which may include assisting teachers within their day-camps, and supporting camp directors with their operations duties

  • Operational Analysis: Assist in analyzing day-to-day summer camp operations performance data to identify areas for improvement and operational efficiency.

  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with teachers, students, and summer camp directors to develop and implement process improvement initiatives and identify best practices.

  • Public-Facing Communication: Support the development of communication materials and resources for teachers, families, students, and Saint Henry School social media.

  • Inventory Management: Assist in inventory management processes, including product allocation, replenishment strategies, and inventory analysis.

What We Look For

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Education, Operations, Event Management, or a related field (i.e. Communications, Psychology, etc.)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Outlook and Excel.

  • Enthusiasm for education, operations, and continual improvement.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Conditions

  • In-person

  • June 2-20th, Monday through Friday

  • July 7-18th, Monday through Friday

+ Aftercare Staff

Saint Henry School is seeking experienced, innovative, and passionate staff for our Aftercare program. We are seeking applicants willing to work hard to ensure that students are provided supportive and nurturing care in an environment appropriate for after-school hours. The staff will design age-appropriate activities, allow for creative play, and encourage individual interests for our students during after-school hours. Staff members are expected to be passionate about what they do, the students they provide care for and mentor, and the school community. Saint Henry School is an exciting, highly professional, and very engaging community.

  • $18/Hour
  • Weekdays 2:45-5:45PM

Requirements:

  1. High School Diploma
  2. Ability to follow the guidelines and policies provided
  3. Willing to incorporate the teachings of the Catholic faith
  4. Experience working with children in various developmental stages preferred
  5. Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
