Each year, our third grade students participate in an enrichment project, the “Saint Nicholas Shop,” headed by Principal Sister Mary Elizabeth. The Saint Nicholas Shop is a Christmas-time store selling religious items entirely set up and run by the third graders. It is open for business to family, friends, and other students in December.
To begin the project, students first complete job applications to work on various teams for the shop, including finance, buying, merchandising, and advertising. Last week, they participated in job interviews to determine which team they would be a part of. Everyone was impressed with their professionalism!
